Smart Technology Overview

Spektrum Smart technology is designed to provide a closer connection between you and your hobby. The smart technology puts you in complete control and also give you more information than ever about your important electronics. Spektum smart charging basically eradicates the tedious nature of charging your LiPo batteries. This is all made possible by using an integrated micro chip on each smart battery that communicates back to your charger to pre select the ideal charge setting for the battery.

While every hobbyist will love the simple nature of the Spektrum smart charging, more advanced and experienced customers will be able to have tangible data like cycle counts, overcharge and discharge information, battery temperature, C rating and even more! This is all saved within each battery to keep the information stored specifically on each individual pack. Another innovative feature is the ability to automatically charge and discharge to help extend the lifespan and health of your batteries.

The Spektrum S120 Smart charger is a 20W charger, capable of charging Spektrum Smart batteries from virtually any USB port. Once you connect up a Spektrum smart battery the S120 immediately picks up the stored battery information and begins the charge cycle immediately. The whole Spektrum smart charging process is designed to be safe, easy, intuitive and so simple that charging up your batteries is a painless process!

The charging process is super simple, just connect the S120 USB-C Smart Charger with the provided USB cable up to a USB power source (Not included). Then just plug in your battery and the charging process has begun automatically. You can keep an eye on the status of the charge cycle by the LED light on the charge unit, and once complete the LED will light up bright green.
