Overview

Though the Decathlon went out of production within a decade of its introduction, this was not due to any fault in the design but rather to the slump in general aviation in the United States at the end of the 1970s and the beginning of the 1980s. Since its reintroduction, the Super Decathlon has sold steadily. Decathlons and Super Decathlons remain popular as aerobatic trainers, as beginning and intermediate aerobatic aircraft, and as personal aircraft.

The Decathlon is all laser cut and is a great scale airplane. Featuring pre-covered fuselage and wings with great looking colour scheme sure to catch the eye of everyone. The plane comes with fibreglass cowl, wheel pant… Simple assembly of pre-finished parts enables the model to be ready for fly in very short time. Just a few simple jobs installing radio gear, installing the engine, etc and you will be flying. With a 4-stroke engine installed, the Decathlon will catch plenty of attention on and off the field!
