Product Information
Since the early 2000’s Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTV) were being produced for commercial purposes on farms and construction sites. It didn’t take long for the desert racing community to start tinkering and converting them into bush-bashing off-road racers at a fraction of the cost of what a full-sized racing car was costing. These days you can buy a race-spec off road side by side (SxS) at most dealerships although I’m sure the DIY scene is still fairly robust. The passion that SxS drivers have for racing their vehicles on any and all surfaces can now be enjoyed in a 1/10th scale with the Losi Polaris RZR Pro R.

The RZR Rey chassis is a natural progression from the incredibly successful Losi Baja Rey chassis and forms the bedrock upon which the Losi Polaris RZR Pro R generates such high performance. The fully-independent A-arm front suspension has been carefully engineered to allow each side to adjust exactly as and when required giving you precise handling, steering and control when you most need it. The Rey chassis was previously only available with independent suspension on the front while the rear had a solid axle suspension. The Losi Polaris RZR Pro R has been redesigned with a rear trailing arm setup for higher performance and also keeps this RC racer closer to the full-scale design. If you didn’t know this is important because it allows the RZR Pro to combine the characteristics of both the independent A-arm suspension's ability to handle cornering speed with the solid rear axle suspension's ability to absorb the lumps and bumps of rough terrain.
Another feature that mirrors those on its full-scale counterpart is the long travel shocks with threaded shock bodies and adjustment collars on the Losi Polaris RZR Pro R. You can also fine-tune the pre-load settings of the springs and along with the chassis features and external bump stops these shocks also contribute to your ability to handle the impact of big jumps and keep it pinned to maintain speed.
All three differentials and the single-speed transmission on your Losi Polaris RZR Pro R are sealed in order to protect them from sub-optimal conditions. The fitted MOD 1 steel gears add another level of toughness and increase the RZR Pro’s ability to handle the power generated by the brushless high-output motor. The 3mm aluminium chassis plate with an upper deck of 2.5mm not only adds durability but forms the foundation for the RZR Rey platform. There are so many high-performance features at play in the Losi Polaris RZR Pro R that ensure it can handle any punishment you put it through and still front up for more.

The 4-wheel drive and 1/10th scale size mean your Losi Polaris RZR Pro R can handle a number of different terrains with ease. The performance ability of this RC desert racer is unquestionable and the scale looks only enhance the feelings you may get owning one. The full-size side-by-side look is duplicated with a roll cage, moulded body panels, and officially licensed BF Goodrich KM3 tyres featuring a Baja championship-winning design fitted to officially licensed Raceline A93 Podium wheels. Not only does the rubber meet the road in officially licenced style it also gives you constant and superb traction when putting your Losi Polaris RZR Pro R through its paces. Night driving is another fun option for you with front and rear light buckets fitted with bright LEDs to add scale realism and another twelve hours of possible driving fun!
The power system on your Losi Polaris RZR Pro R is a factory-installed, waterproof 3800Kv Spektrum brushless motor coupled with a 130A Spektrum Firma brushless Smart ESC. This dynamic power system combo will take either 2S or 3S LiPOs (sold separately) and will hit 72+ km/h without breaking a sweat. If you need to service this RC desert racer or change the battery over the chassis is easily accessible given the body panels and cage can be easily dismantled by removing just four body clips.
To control your Losi Polaris RZR Pro R there is a DX3 Spektrum transmitter included with advanced features included to enhance your driving experience. There are three throttle limit position switches so you can adjust if you give your kids a drive, or, level up yourself as your driving improves. Also featured on the transmitter is a power level indicator which will let you know when your vehicle battery needs a recharge or a replacement battery if you want to keep driving. One of the more subtle enhancements to the DX3 transmitter is the addition of Active Vehicle Control technology which allows you to set this stability-enhancing technology to a level that enables you to tackle the jumps and corners without needing to ease up on the throttle.
