With a great tyre tread and compound, the right shock set-up and tuned differentials to give you optimal grip you are bound to hit the track running! 1/8 scale truggies are equipped with 5.5-inch tyres and excellent track width to help you tackle the roughest terrain at the highest speeds. Toughness and speed are your friends when you are in the thick of a 1/8 scale RC Truggy dogfight!

Advanced electronics for precision control

Based on the back-to-back ROAR National Championship-winning TLR 8IGHT-X platform, the Losi 8IGHT-XTE 1/8 Scale 4WD Racing Truggy is loaded with proven engineering and performance features. These features include race-legal chassis specs and a brushless power system with a competition-level S665 Spektrum metal gear steering servo and a full metal driveline. Not only is your servo waterproof, but it can easily handle the twists, turns and jumps of 1/8 scale racing with high torque (over 270 oz-inch @ 7.4V), full metal gears, and a fast 0.1 second transit time. The spline servo horn attached is an industry-standard 25T. The precise control at your fingertips is made possible by the sensored brushless system which allows communication between the 2250Kv motor and the 130A ESC. Super smooth performance throughout the power band is free from stuttering or cogging you can get in sensorless motors when applying throttle from a stop.

Electronic precision is essential to successful racing and the Spektrum SR315 is a proven performer and can be used with many different Spektrum transmitters. If you were so inclined you could also upgrade your transmitter and use the SR315 for forward programming of your on-board electronics wirelessly.

The Spektrum DX3 transmitter that comes with your Losi 8IGHT-XTE 1/8 Scale 4WD Racing Truggy only needs a 4S LiPo battery and compatible charger for you to plug in and hit the track. With so much speed and power at your fingertips, you may want to utilise the throttle limiting function if you're a novice racer to 50 or 75% until you think you're ready to handle it.
