Its compact size means you can pilot it in areas where larger models can't venture.

HobbyZone Apprentice STOL S

The Apprentice STOL S 700mm is optimised for Short Take Off and Landing (STOL) capabilities, much like the iconic E-flite Timber series. Its brushless outrunner motor is designed for common 2S 300mAh rechargeable Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries, resulting in remarkable power and efficiency, allowing you to brave winds up to 8 km/h. Its taildragger landing gear and oversized tyres ensure it can take off from various surfaces, including pavement, dirt, gravel, and grass found at parks and sports fields. The advanced EPO construction is lightweight yet incredibly durable, and the removable wing makes transport, storage, and replacement as convenient as possible.

Stay in control with SAFE technology

With full 4-channel control and SAFE technology, you can switch between Beginner, Intermediate, and Experienced modes with ease.

Beginner Mode: Perfect for first-time pilots, it prevents over-control by limiting the pitch (up/down) and bank (left/right) angles. Release the control sticks and the RC plane automatically returns to level flight. Take-offs and landings are simple. It helps you to relax and enjoy flying.
Intermediate Mode: As your skills advance, this mode offers more freedom in pitch and bank, but still prevents significant over-control. It does not have automatic levelling, but you can use the Panic Recovery in this mode.
Experienced Mode: For seasoned flyers, this mode gives you complete control, allowing for aerobatic manoeuvres and even inverted flight.
Panic Recovery Mode: If things get out of hand in Intermediate or Experienced modes, the Panic Recovery brings the aircraft back to level flight with the push of a button.

Available in Ready-To-Fly and Bind-N-Fly Basic versions

The ready-to-fly version is a one-box solution for new RC pilots. The Spektrum SLT6 2.4GHz controller/transmitter pairs with other Bind-N-Fly (BNF) Basic aircraft compatible with SLT FHSS technology (future availability). The 2S 300mAh rechargeable LiPo battery and USB-C charger are included meaning there is nothing extra to buy. The potent and efficient brushless motor, ESC, dual-protocol receiver, and servos are all factory-installed in the durable EPO airframe. With the included thumbscrews, wing installation takes minutes without the need for glue or tools.

The BNF Basic version offers experienced pilots the flexibility to use their preferred Spektrum transmitter and their existing batteries and chargers. The rest of the package mirrors the RTF version, delivering exceptional performance.

Connect the included SLT6 controller/transmitter to your computer via a USB-C cable (not included) and enjoy up to 100 minutes of flight simulation. If you desire more, you can purchase the RealFlight Trainer Edition or Evolution for endless flight adventures.
