The first 1/8 scale competition ESC which can work the full-sensored mode at all times (when pairing it with a HOBBYWING matching motor). Turbo timing technology is implemented by the XR8 SCT to unleash the maximum power of a HOBBYWING matching motor. Built with the most rugged and high-quality components and coupled with cutting-edge firmware, the XR8 SCT is able to deliver unmatched power and performance for even the most hardcore of racing applications, but is also responsive enough to protect itself from damage due to overloading due to physical abuse, overuse or even human error. Small (30.1% smaller than XR8 Plus in size) and light (36.5g lighter than XR8 Plus in weight) structure design greatly simplifies the installation of the power system (esp. for vehicles like buggy and touring car with compact chassis). The XR8 SCT provides an exceptionally smooth off-throttle coasting function, which simulates the feeling of inertia and momentum of a large-scale car driving experience. This can greatly improve the performance of builds utilizing large, high-powered motors as electromagnetic drag becomes a substantial factor in sudden deceleration when in the off-throttle position, adversely affecting driving performance and overall maneuvering. HOBBYWING's patented cooling technology utilizes proprietary heat-conductive copper bars to rapidly and effectively transfer all internal heat from the MOSFET board to the integrated CNC machined billet aluminum heatsink housing. The cooling fan adopts a shockproof mounting which effectively reduces the possibility of fan damage due to vehicle’s frequent jumps. Hobbywing XeRun XR8 SCT ESC Features:

The first 4-pole motor with a built-in chip which helps ESC identify it's a HOBBYWING motor (only when pairing it with the XeRun XR8 series of ESCs) and the XR8 ESC create a power system which is able to work in the "sensored" mode (at all times) and provide users with the better performance and smoother control. Note: this motor is compatible with other ESCs but unable to work in the "sensored" mode at all times. The Turbo Timing which is widely used (by 2-pole motors) in 1/10 scale on-road racing can be enabled to unleash the utmost power of the motor when pairing the XeRun 3652/3660 G2 with the XeRun XR8 series of ESCs. The HOBBYWING-patented "error-free" Hall sensing system adopted by the motor guarantees users the steady operation in the “sensored” mode. A separate high-speed high precision encoder always outputs the clean signals (indicate the position of the rotor) and protects the Hall sensing system from other signal interference. The HOBBYWING-patented 4-pole-8-magnet "staggered pole" rotor with the extremely low cogging effect and torque pulsation greatly improves the driving feel around corners. The use of double insulated windings (200? R-leveled), Japanese NMB bearings, super thin silicon steel sheets and the high-intensity adhesive (300?) guarantees users the outstanding performance and great durability. (With the strength of the motor is guaranteed,) the wheel hub design adopted by front & rear end bells effectively reduces the motor weight. HobbyWing XeRun 3652 SD G2 Motor Features:
