The Axial SCX10 III Base Camp features the officially licensed Pro-Line 1982 Chevy K10 stepside body, meticulously factory-painted and detailed to replicate the iconic “square body” design. Axial’s commitment to authenticity extends beyond appearance, as this RC truck boasts exceptional durability and performance. It’s built on the durable SCX10 III steel C-channel chassis that not only reduces frame flexing but also improves the precision of suspension movement. Equipped with AR45 portal axles, the SCX10 III Base Camp Chevy K10 Crawler offers increased ground clearance at the differential making off-road manoeuvrability easier.  

Designed for simplicity and durability, the LCXU 4-wheel drive transmission works seamlessly with standard and portal axles. It incorporates a full set of ball bearings and all-metal internal gears ensuring robustness and longevity. The Base Camp K10’s front suspension geometry is optimised to decrease bump steer, ensuring a smooth and controlled drive, while the rear 4-link suspension set-up effectively reduces torque twist, improving stability on rugged terrains. The oil-filled shocks come with aluminium threaded bodies and a single coil-over spring, allowing for fine-tuning and achieving the best dampening rate for optimal performance.

The Axial SCX10 III Base Camp Chevy K10 RC Crawler comes equipped with new 4.19” Falken Wildpeak M/T R35 compound tyres that are designed for superior grip and ground clearance on various off-road surfaces. It features a Dynamite 35T brushed motor and a Spektrum 40A brushed ESC. With this reliable combo, you’ll spend more time enjoying the trails and less time on maintenance. 

The Base Camp SCX10 III Chevy K10 rock crawler includes the Spektrum SLT3 3-channel radio that provides reliable 2.4GHz control with user-adjustable features such as steering rate, throttle limits as well as steering and throttle trims. Additionally, the SR315 DSMR Sport Receiver is included, enabling you to easily upgrade to transmitters with higher channels like the Spektrum DX5 Rugged, DX5C or DX5 Pro. To complete the package, simply add your preferred 2S or 3S LiPo battery and you’re ready to take the wheel and embrace the legacy of the legendary Chevy K10!
