The 1/10 scale FURY MEGA 550 2WD from ARRMA lets everyone get in on short course bashing fun. Designed tough and fast the FURY allows novice to expert RC drivers alike explosive out-of-the-box performance. The FURY MEGA 550 2WD has something no other ARRMA 2WD has and that is a closed-wheel body design which means you can have running battles with your mates without getting tangled up in each other's tyres.

Explosive Out-of-the-Box Performance

The FURY MEGA 550 2WD comes with an SLT2 Spektrum 2-channel transmitter which has a speed-limiting function that serves to teach control skills by limiting you to either 50 or 75% of the FURY's maximum speed until you are ready for full throttle. On board the FURY are the S660 high torque Spektrum steering servo and the Spektrum 2-in-1 40A ESC/receiver unit both of which are waterproof so smashing it through the rain at high speed will not be a problem. For precise steering, the Spektrum S660 digital steering servo provides 84 oz-inch @ 6V of high torque. As your RC driving skills expand you can trick the FURY MEGA 550 2WD up by installing a brushless power system and upgrading to LiPo batteries as well. The Spektrum 2-in-1 40A ESC and receiver already have the capacity to handle the additional power of LiPo so no upgrades will be needed.

Unique Closed-Wheel Body Design

Engineered with a mid-motor design the FURY MEGA 550 2WD gives the RC driver short course handling that allows you to carve turns without pushing while the large footprint and low centre of gravity provide outstanding stability. The dynamic long-wheel travel on the FURY looks super impressive especially when you are in the thick of it while racing. The closed-wheel body design on your FURY means you can block pass and rub up against your fellow racers without fear of tyres getting tangled up. The differential is factory installed and the heavy-duty metal gears send power from your 14T brushed motor that will move plenty of power to the all-terrain tyres on your rear wheels drive plenty of blasting power and traction.

Durable Composite Chassis with Easy Maintenance

The composite chassis on the ARRMA 1/10 FURY MEGA 550 2WD is a durable and strengthened spine design that won't collect rocks, dirt or mud which means it doesn't pick up any extra weight as you are bashing around the track.

FURY Short Course Truck

You can expect extended run times from the FURY with short 2-3 hour charge times from the included Spektrum high-capacity 7-cell Smart 3300mAh NiMH battery. As soon as you hook this battery up to the Spektrum S120 USB-C Smart charger it will start safe charging automatically. When it's time to change batteries you will get it done with lightning speed without needing to fuss with removing the body or clips. Latches can just be pushed and the door opens and you just plug in a fully charged pack.

A hidden body retention system on the ARRMA 1/10 FURY MEGA 550 2WD adds to the scale realism and keeps your truck body where it should be. There's no need to take the body off to change the battery but it is easily removable if you need access to tinker with the electronics.
